Incubator

Udalbiltza aims to provide innovative responses to the challenges of each era at the level of the Basque Country, and the incubator is a space for experimentation.

To do this, we offer help in the beginnings of these innovative projects. We currently have several projects under development, such as the secondary network of Ehnergia Energy Communities or the Plastigarbi cross-border project for the collection and processing of plastic waste. These are called projects that are in the Incubator.

However, other projects, once they reach the integrity of the development, no longer require the intervention of Udalbiltza and begin to live on their own. These are projects that come out of the Incubator, like EH Kom.

Projects in the incubator

Secondary network of energy communities

The main challenge for energy communities, once created, is to continue. Thus, taking advantage of the experience of each community, at Udalbiltza we are building a secondary network with the aim of offering the services they need and sharing resources.

Plastigarbi

The problem of plastic waste that accumulates in the water has reached a critical situation in which the partners and collaborators of Udalbiltza have felt the need to act. As a result, it has started the process of creating a project called PLASTIGARBI, in collaboration with other agents. The aim is to establish a cross-border network for the collection, classification and processing of marine litter.
